Administrative Assistant/Office Manager
Job Summary
Provide administrative support to the management team and assist with overall office administration and management. Additionally, incumbent will be trained cross-functionally over time to provide some customer support by responding to and resolving issues for customers over the phone and email.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general office reception duties including greeting, answering phones, faxing, photocopying, data entry, filing and ordering supplies.
- Transcribes correspondence, reports and other documents.
- Prepare reports and presentations.
- Create PDF documents for management and staff.
- Coordinate travel arrangement for management and staff.
- Customer mass emailing as needed.
- Open, sort and deliver mail. Prepare FedEx packages for shipment.
- Petty cash reconciliation and distribution.
- Maintain relationships with office equipment vendors, contacting vendors when servicing is required.
- Assist in compiling marketing materials.
- Order, maintain and organize office and kitchen supplies and related inventory.
- General office duties of keeping paper stocked in copiers and printers and assists in keeping common areas of the office clean and tidy.
- Organize company bi-weekly meetings.
- Create/organize packets and related materials for Board of Director meetings.
- Assist with special projects, as needed.
- Train on customer interface as requested.
- Support customer requests and/or investigate customer issues.
- Open/close technical case logs.
- Follow up with customers: answer questions, report the status of a pending issue, update customer expectations, or get more information about a pending issue.

Technical Support Analyst
Job Summary
The Technical Support Analyst will support the growth of medSage’s National Accounts via detailed system analysis, customized reporting, and development of internal analysis software.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support to internal customers on a variety of system data.
- Identify, research and resolve technical problems.
- Respond to telephone calls, emails and requests for technical support from customers and internal personnel.
- Document, track and monitor the problem(s) to ensure a timely resolution.
- Ability to communicate well with clients and project managers to gather information.
- Must be accountable and responsible for working on business critical products that operate 24/7/365 and are distributed nationwide to many clients.
- Assist with documentation including internal design documentation, test plans, installation instructions, and internal release notes.
- Assist in the development of internal analysis tools designed to assist our clients in improving their operations.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail and quality are a must.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science or comparable.
- 1+ years successful experience in a technical support or software development role.
Business Experience & Specialized Knowledge/Skills
- Experience working directly with customers.
- Database and SQL skills required.
- Proficiency with a programming or scripting language strongly desired. Perl and/or Ruby a plus.
- Comfortable using Linux/Unix operating system.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated self-starter, interpersonal skills, creative problem solving skills.
Deployment Manager
Job Summary
The Deployment Manager organizes the deployment of newly acquired medSage customers, from contract signing through go live and the first 2 months of customer use of the medSage product. This delivery of our integrated software solution includes: planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities required to meet and exceed customer expectations during this period. Key activities include account management, requirements gathering, project management, configuration, test, deployment and training of the integrated solution.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand client business processes, data requirements and program goals.
- Promote program marketing and revenue potential of medSage value proposition.
- Propose integrated solution that maximizes existing best practices.
- Document all required deliverables and obtain approvals where required.
- Develop project schedule consistent with scope and available resources.
- Communicate progress and escalate potential roadblocks as appropriate.
- Manage client expectations, commitment and objections.
- Manage internal team resources to ensure project timeline is achieved.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Business Experience & Specialized Knowledge/Skills
3 - 5 years experience in the following areas:
- Experience working directly with customers to deliver integrated software solutions.
- Account/relationship management experience.
- Experience managing projects requiring internal and external resource oversight.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Must be comfortable presenting to groups (typically <10).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated self-starter, interpersonal skills, creative problem solving skills.
- Knowledge with HME/DME industry and billing systems a plus.

Application Integration Engineer
Job Summary
The Application Integration Engineer is responsible for the overall function and success of customer deployments. This includes planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to the integration of third-party systems for medSage’s products and the deployment of medSage systems. Activities include requirements gathering, design, implementation, test, and deployment of the integration solution.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify technical requirements and customizations to medSage systems based on customer’s business requirements and needs.
- Analyze and document custom database applications and interfaces.
- Ability to communicate well with clients and project managers to gather information and also present the solution.
- Use requirements and designs to implement a solution, defining test plans and methods, executing testing, and deployment of the integration solution.
- Review computer operating logs to identify processing errors.
- Must be accountable and responsible for working on business critical products that operate 24/7/365 and are distributed nationwide to many clients.
- Develop documentation including test plans, installation instructions, internal release notes, and design documents.
- Provide technical support.
